It happened. Just like I knew it would. The alarms went off and the kids got ready for their first day of school. Kindergarten and Third Grade … Kindergarten! And THIRD Grade!
My mommy heart is torn between thrilled for them – because all three of them were so excited to start the school year – and kind of lost I guess. I imagine the school year will fly by, as it always does, but this is going to take some getting used to. One day at a time, right?
Today: Coffee. Writing. Running. Gotta keep my mind busy 🙂
So my Wild Workout Wednesday isn’t actually all that Wild (sorry Sarah!), but it’s certainly new to me. Who knows, I may spend most of my day working out just to stay busy … and filling out all of that back-to-school paperwork!
My little Kindergarten guy is probably preparing for his first cafeteria lunch experience … better lace up those running shoes sooner rather than later. With any luck they’ll be home before I know it! 🙂
