Ever find yourself trying to weigh the pro’s and con’s of an important decision when a 90’s song randomly pops into your head? The kind you only know the chorus to but it just will not go away no matter how many times you try to change the song stuck in your head? So thanks, I guess, to C+C Music Factory for being the soundtrack to my thought process today 🙂Fortunately, I’m linking up with Amanda today for Thinking Out Loud Thursday where randomness is the theme of the day! So, without further ado, my thoughts for TOLT!
*One thing you should know about me is that I love to bake. LOVE IT! I don’t love to cook, so please don’t confuse the two, but I love to bake…and it’s darn-near impossible to talk me out of adding chocolate chips to pretty much any recipe I try. Seriously, though, what baked goods would not benefit from added chocolate? *Last week it was my turn to bring breakfast to our early morning Bible Study (yep, that happens at dark-thirty too). It was the day after Michelle’s birthday and she loves pumpkin maybe even more than I love baking, so I make pumpkin muffins (and added chocolate chips at the last minute).
Coffee + Pumpkin Muffins + Beth Moore = Happiness 🙂*You know what else makes me happy? My new “Living On A Prayer“ shirt – perfect for casual Friday!*I have one rule before any long run: HYDRATE. HYDRATE. HYDRATE. If I start breaking my own rules, it gets ugly – as evidenced this morning when I tried to run 5 miles in warmish (for Indiana) temps after not getting enough water for the past 2-3 days. Plus, watching my Tri-berry Nuun fizz up in my glass waterbottle is pretty neat 🙂
*I might be willing to admit my race addiction now. I am headed to South Carolina with my family for a few days in the sun at the end of the month. On a whim, I decided to see if there would be a race I could run while I’m there. Voilà! A 10K/5K race in it’s inaugural year benefiting the local food bank – it was meant to be!

*These girls. They are just the best! It’s been a long time since we’ve had such a large group at post-run coffee because schedules this time of year are starting to get hectic … and it only gets worse with spring sports and end-of-school chaos in full swing after Spring Break!
