Happy Friday, friends 🙂 The weekend is upon us – mine will be consumed with kids’ basketball, a quick trip to my alma mater for a meeting (hopefully! weather permitting), dinner with friends, worshiping with my church family and … my long run! I used to dread the long runs, but now I actually treasure them. Lots of time to catch up and to reflect.
With all that is likely on our To Do Lists this weekend, I’ll make this brief. A couple fun pictures that I forgot to post earlier in the week, my new favorite anytime meal and my secret to drinking more water …
Tuesday morning the “feels like” temp was projected to be 21* below zero! Yet Jen, Liza and Ruth were not going to let that stop them from logging their miles outside at “zero brrrrr-thirty!” Super Kudos ladies!!
You might be addicted to coffee if….
My new favorite meal for whenever I’m hungry… eggs, kale or spinach, and feta topped with Spicy, Smoky Peach Salsa from Trader Joe’s. Super fast, super filling and soooo good!
We all know we should drink more water, but what if water is boring? There are a million different ways to flavor your water these days, but so many of them are loaded with artificial dyes and sugar or sugar substitutes that they end up doing more harm than good. Imagine my immense delight when I discovered these two gems on my search for a better alternative: True Lemon and Stur!
I have found both at my local grocery store, either in the organic section or mixed in with the other powdered drink mixes. Both are flavored with natural ingredients (Not Artificial Dyes!!) and both contain stevia rather than sugar or sugar substitutes. And all of the flavors shown are approved by all three kids as well!
Finally – THANK YOU ALL FOR READING! Yesterday marked exactly one month since my first public post, and in that time our little blog has had nearly 2,700 views. I am so humbled that so many of you take the time to visit with us each day and read about our crazy adventures. Thank you for your encouraging words and your support as we hit the ground running, literally, to share our stories with you. Just Thank You!
